Vampire Diaries series on CW in the fall???

i might watch the first episode just to see what it's like but after watching true blood, i don't know if i can go back to a pre-teens type of vampire show, lol. i love how raw true blood is, they can show anything so it doesn't mute how violent and ual the vampires are. plus the main characters has nothing on the boys of true blood O_o. but once true blood is over i'll have nothing to watch so i will defiantly check it out. i haven't read the books either, the only vampire books i have read are the ones true blood is based on so it's a lot easier for me to hook on to true blood.
