When i was stoke my female syrian hamster it froze, is it ok?

i was stroking my syrian hamster near the tail, the hamster froze and her backside stuck up and so did the tail and she froze for about 5 minutes and i poked her to see if she was alright and as soon as i touched her the tail went up even more but then after about 5 minutes her went back to normal, is my hamster ok?
