You do not need any experience to be hired by the Pennsylvania State Police. You might be able to get an internship with the Pennsylvania State Police. If not, try to get an internship with a local police department. You are making a good decision by going to college and getting a 4 year degree. Get the highest grade point average that you can. Criminal justice might be a good choice for you. However, many people would suggest choosing a different major. There are many good majors for police officers.
