How can someone turn hatred for someone into apathy? I have been very mistreated by several family members?

honey hate is such a strong word. if itcomes to the point of having to hate someone because the have wronged you in such a horrible way you need to cut your ties. as sad but true as it seems. we are only given one shot here on earth. we need to make the best of it. life is too short to deal with stupid or ignorant people. these persons you speek of have no buisness hurting you or anyone else for that matter. i understand family is family, but love should not hurt. i honestly belive you need to go with your life and if nesacary mourn the loss of those who hurt you and keep it as though to you they no longer exsist and are dead. hold your head up high and go on with your life you just as anyone else not only deserve, but have the right to live happy----cynthia
