Believe my psychic friend?

I have a good friend - she's a good person but she's also much of a dreamer. I do believe that some people possess psychic abilities, I really do. It's just that recently she used her pendulum... and got some answers that sounded realistic but were also exactly what she wanted to hear and also what I wanted to hear. She does get some things scaringly right. She'll know things through her pendulum that she couldn't have known... but this time I feel her wishes are blocking her true abilities. Is this possible? How will I know?
